Starting a long term water fast

I've done a few 1 day (~36 hours) water fasts where I only drink water between going to bed, until morning the following day. These go fine for the most part, but I really wanted to try a longer fast since I've read from numerous sources that the process of Ketosis, when your body really starts to use stored fat, doesn't actually start until about 72 hours into a fast. I've also been having some shoulder pain for about the past 6 months which is probably either impingement or bursitis. I've read how fasting can reduce inflammation, so I decided to try a longer fast where I actually get to Ketosis this time.

The first day was similar to my previous experiences where I felt generally ok, but a little hungry for most of the day. At dinner was the hardest with my family enjoying BBQ that smelled really good. I also started to get a headache around dinner time, which has happened before on my 1 day fasts. Overall, the first day went pretty much as expected, so far so good.
